At Machine Learning Reply Germany, we work with our clients on leading-edge projects for which we are seeking Cloud DevOps Engineers to serve our cloud-based client projects in multiple industries.

Responsibilities
  • Designinnovative, technical approaches for cloud solution architectures (Azure or AWS) from complete green field approaches to complex migration scenarios
  • Develop sophisticated cloud architectures while also considering requirements in terms of security, legal, multi-tenancy and access policies
  • Design and implement test, staging, and production environments in Azure or AWS, Kubernetes, or On-Premises
  • Automate recurring tasks by state-of-the-art CI/CD pipelines, enabling your customers to significantly reduce their time to delivery
  • Take care of the necessary monitoring, failover, and recovery infrastructures that allow our customers to operate the delivered solutions with ease
  • Closely interact with customers and stakeholders to translate concrete and complex business requirements into production-ready infrastructures
  • Collaborate with various disciplines such as enterprise architects, analysts, data scientists or data engineers to develop data-intensive applications such as data warehouses, data lakes and/or data platforms
  • Be the connecting element between software developers and operational teams, transforming latest features into production-ready solutions

Job requirements

  • Bachelor´s /Master’s degree in Computer Science or related fields (e.g., engineering, statistics, informatics)
  • Practical experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS or substantial knowledge with on-premises solutions
  • Proficiency with Linux, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions such as Terraform or configuration management solutions such as Ansible is mandatory
  • You have hands-on experience with DevOps tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.) and possess a strong understanding of the concepts
  • Practical experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redshift, Snowflake)
  • You are familiar with setting up workflow orchestration (Apache Airflow, Dagster, etc.)
  • Understanding the advantages and practical use of main and feature branches
  • Knowledge about networks, distributed computing solutions, application scaling and databases is an advantage
  • Ability to convincingly communicate project and development results within project structure
  • Fluent in English and able to speak German at least at a B1 level
